The Wilderness Hotel Nellim is owned and operated by Jouko and Mare Lappalainen and their family. They have converted an old school house into a home for themselves, their twins and for travellers looking for adventure and tranquillity. The hotel features twelve simply furnished rooms and apartments, each with a private wc/shower. Fresh food from the lake, its forests and an authentic Sami family welcome, distinguishes this hotel from others. As well as a restaurant and a traditional Kota, where you will experience a Lappish dinner on one of your nights throughout of your holiday, you will also be able to experience the Finnish customs of a wood-burning sauna.
