DAY 1 - Let the Magic Begin

Husky and childOnce you've landed in the snowy wonderland look out for Santa's elves who will meet you at the airport. It's very chilly so the elves will take you to the locker room to get you into a thermal suit and comfy boots. You're whisked to the activity park where the fun really begins.

Ever heard of suopunki? Suopunki is reindeer lassoing; you'll be shown the skills needed to succeed with this traditional method of herding reindeer before having a go at it yourself.

Now's your chance to race against each other on toboggans down the slopes. Hold on tight. Kicksleds are a local form of transport and easy for everyone to use so you should get the hang of them in no time.

While you catch your breath the kids can see more of the captivating scenery as they enjoy a short snowmobile ride. Next have a go at tandem skiing, it's quite tricky but provides plenty of giggles, and try out snowshoes, they were invented to be able to walk over the snow without sinking.

The highlight of the day could be when you meet the man himself, Santa Claus! He will have a present for all the boys and girls.

Have some hot berry juice to keep you warm before hopping aboard a reindeer sled for a leisurely ride through your snow-covered surroundings. The best activity may have been saved till last - a team of huskies will take you on a fast-paced sled ride, it's thrilling.

DAY 2 - Christmas Delights Come Early

The morning begins how you want it to whether that's playing in the snow or taking an optional excursion.

You'll welcome the hearty three-course lunch at Forest Manor as you'll need energy for the excitement to come in Santa Claus' Village - it's magical.Santa's Village

In the village you can enjoy the festive atmosphere and send a postcard to friends or a letter from Santa Claus, stamped with the special postmark of the Santa Claus Post Office. Cross the Arctic Circle and receive a certificate for doing so on your flight home and go shopping for wonderful Lappish gifts. Take a peek at the elves, working hard in Santa's Office. There's a lovely selection of bars and restaurants if you need a hot chocolate or snack, the Ice Bar is a 'cool' place to take a break.

For one last blast of fun you'll be heading off on an exhilarating snowmobile ride to enjoy the beautiful sights of the snowy forest.
